Batik - a cloth that is traditionally produce using a wax-resist dyeing method . ( source from wikipedia). Batik has worldwide popularity used as material for clothing , furnishing fabrics , heavy canvas wall hanging , and other household accessories .
The production of hand drawn batik in Malaysia is relatively common . The commercial production started back in the 60's. This is a free hand method of drawing and designing batik based on artist personal creativity and inspiration .
The Malaysian government is now endorsing Batik as a national dress to every level of population to reflect the 1Malaysia idea.
